I can make grown men cry in interviews. In a good way!
I’ve interviewed hundreds of people in my career. Whether I’m filming for a documentary or while researching a client, I love to get to the heart of what makes someone passionate about their work. Honestly, I think a lot of men in particular have not been asked to dig deep into why they do what they do. Once they have the space to express their hearts, then these sweet tears of care come out, and it’s so beautiful!
They inevitably joke about hating it, but their smirks tell me they love it.
